Ever wish you stripped out your threads? Diff drain bolt POS

FUBAR bolt then?
I never torque the drain nor the fill bolts after snapping off the drain bolt once & having to dismantle the diff to get the magnet out! I drilled the heads to wire tie then together & just use a good fiber washer and snug up. Nver any thought to them vibrating out.đź‘Ť
 
Just casually doing an oil change and I always do the diff while I'm at it because I have a gallon of diff fluid for her I want to use up. Go to put the drain plug back in and torque it. Not even close to torquing down and it goes loose..... ( Insert 5 minutes of profane excessive profanity so loud that the cops were called, JK but not really) And I get it out. Turns out the bolt snapped on half.
Wtf bullshiet is this this aluminum bolt fvckey hollow-ass-mother-sh!t-fack!ng-ass-a!ds is this dumb idea
Let's put a hollow fragile bolt in a place that's sure to be trouble
Got it out luckily so now I'm running to home Depot ( only store open ATM) to get a bolt that will work till a replacement can be ordered.

Already replaced the bolt from ace hardware for $0.85
I plan on drilling out a area and tapping in a press fit bucky ball (magnet)
But right now 4th gear granded and she is sleeping for the season till I can split the case and have the trans rebuilt from Robertsons and I'm doing a DIY stage 2 240hp build from carpenter and making my own headers. I want to do a true 3 pipe exhaust. Stay tuned at my garage channel I have stuff I'm going to be uploading and I'm doing a full out build on her.
 
Already replaced the bolt from ace hardware for $0.85

The “true 3 pipe” exhaust will cost you torque & hp.. A good exhaust will enable the cylinders to help scavenge each other.
