I have a copper friend in central WA who paints very well!
A tank 2 fenders and 2 side panels are 1 large.
That would be a no brained then especially if the owner can do the tear down and reassemble. I could fart a grand.:laugh::laugh::laugh: That is a joke of course. If I strained hard enough to fart a grand it’d be a shart.;)

This new bike is nothing like having a fairing bagger painted.

Getting ready for paint.
Thinking 555 Nm for YurMama.

Dis coonass is clueless too :(

555 nanometers is the color wave length most visible to the human eye.
Pretty close to this:

Local dealer had R and GT on his floor for the past month. Wrote several orders for GTs and said that as long as it was there, he would never sell the R.

Said that as soon as the GT left, he would have no trouble selling the R.

With a developing/lengthening waitlist on the GT, and fairly easy supply on the R, maybe Triumph misjudged the demand?

Or perhaps the price difference is too small??

Interesting.

My local dealer (one of the most significant in France and Paris) has sold so far almost 2/3 of R i.e. about twice more than GT's...(but I hear the opposite from other French dealers'). It shows how different is the market and areas demand.

I prefer (and have ordered) a R for the look and red color (but I would have preferred it slightly glittered similarly to the black or grey of the GT and eventually bicolor red predominantly with some black) : don't like the backrest of the GT, makes it too long and not so much "rocket roadster" same with the foot-pegs and I prefer the R seat.

"Unfortunately" for the look, I had to replace the R handlebar by the GT one as the R handlebar arms position was too much tiring for me. I would have liked also the R without the GT "sports screen" but I've still decided to get one for my R but if I do not feel any "justified" protection with that screen I'll sell it back.
