What do you wear when it's hot riding your rocket ?

Steel,

Yeah right........ "the bike does all the work........" as if?

Everyone knows that it takes a tremendous amount of skill and even more valiance to pull off a cunning stunt like that!!!!!!!

Just takes a little practice, and very little sense.

I'm sorry...... its my body and I can't deal with that gear at 90+ weather! I ride for enjoyment not to sweat my a** off! And yes I've been down more than twice and it hurts and takes a long time to heal! Like I said its my sorry ass body and it hurts a lot! When I'm tired or had enough pain.. I'll just boat ride!!

I live in the mountainous portion of Tennessee, so what you get is lots of rain and heat which equals big time humidity. I wear t-shirts and shorts occasionally but jeans and hiking boots most of the time. It is just to hot to wear full gear mid summer and actually enjoy the ride. That is simply my opinion I know I am not stating facts. I wear a full face Shoei most of the time but wear a 3/4 when the heat is up. I am a conservative rider, I rarely push the envelope but I have had 2 wrecks that sent me to the ER. I'll take the risk of riding without the gear, riding must be fun or I'll find something else to do.

Same here.

The heat/humidity down here stays high, and we live right on the water.

I'm used to it, and am outside a lot, but I dress for it; usually only shorts or swimming trunks, and Crocks (light shoes). So riding boots, jeans and a shirt, plus helmet is putting on a lot of extra stuff for me.

Up to a year or so ago I was a leather jacket ONLY guy. I still occasionally wear my Langlitz custom made leather, but I have found the mesh 3 to 4 season armored jacket (Cortech GX Air 3) to be quite comfy in warm weather and actually more cooling than a short sleeve T shirt. This also saves on sun block and hopefully shall prevent me from any more basal cell carcinomas.
One caveat, after 90°+ everything is friggin' HOT!

+1 on Cortech Mesh Jacket for on long hauls. T shirt and vest otherwise
