Really looking hard at the Rocket 3 Roadster. Very intrigued with its abilities and like that it is so different from other bikes out there. Live in Weatherford TX and expect that if I do get one I won't be able to have group rides with other R3s as they don't seem to live in bunches in the US. :)

There are 3 or 4 members in and around Jacksonville. When you're going to be in the area give a pm and we can try and meet up.

Paul, put you location on your avatar - I've noticed some other blank locations of Rocket owners from Texas.
I just met someone at an m/c store in Plano this weekend with one & he said his brother owns one, I turned him on to this forum but haven't seen him on here (that I know of).... I'm starting to notice there are a ton of Texians on here, I'm in Tyler. Met one from Athens a while back. Think I'll start a roll call post
Hey, every things bigger in Texas (well......) - Even #'s of Rocket Riders!

Newbie here. Looking at a 2014 left over touring red & black for $14,000.00. Not sure if this is a good price for a Triumph or not. My FLH is about done and I am loosing interest in Harley Davidson at the moment. A friend of mine has a Rocket and he loves it. He has a had a few Harley's and always *****ed about the ones he owned. He is a Kawasaki guy so I dont know why he rides a Harley any ways. Someone let him ride a Triumph and he was hooked. Now I have to listen to him brag about his Rocket. The truth is none of us that ride together can keep up with him and he never has problem with that English Bull Dog of his. He wont let me ride it because he say I ride like Foster Brooks walks. But he let one of the older guys ride it and now he is looking for a Rocket too. Anyway he told me about this forum and I figured I would check it out. Is there some accessories to make it more of a touring bike like a fairing and a touring bag like the Electra Glides have? I am not as interested in making it a hot rod like he is but I do a lot of long distance rides so comfort is a must. Like touring seats and floor boards. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks, Iron Mike.
I paid just over 14k for my 2015 roadster brand new. One of the best bikes Ive owned. I am the rocket guy that rides with a bunch of HD guys and they are probably all sick of my bragging but the bike is just that awesome...

For a long time I have suggested a pin map of all our members' towns.
Would not only be helpful and interesting, but useful to see the demographics of where we are located.
Would someone PLEASE do this!

Here now because I've been talking myself out of one of these for 10 years, I finally surrendered. I cut my road teeth on a 75 Trident, loved that bike and never found anything else quite like a Triumph. I've owned A 700Seca, 800 VFR, 800 Intruder, and my 1600 Marauder. I've ridden plenty more. Really looking forward to this R3, hoping to make it my two up ride for the wifey and daughter, and my touring ride. I usually do a couple.road trips every year.
