I paid just over 14k for my 2015 roadster brand new. One of the best bikes Ive owned. I am the rocket guy that rides with a bunch of HD guys and they are probably all sick of my bragging but the bike is just that awesome...

The FLH is a capable and comfortable tourer. The Rocket just has so much more power. The only big bike that can compare is the Valkyrie. There R3 is easy to customize. Google Triumph Rocket III images and get some ideas. There is a long haul driver seat on ebay right now for an OK price. There are plenty of panniers options in leather or fiberglass. Have fun! Hi, My name is Lee and my R3 is Sai which means Rhino in Japanese. I joined R3Owners right after buying a 2015 Rocket 3 Roadster last year. I'm American and have lived in Japan for the past 40 years and have toured around all four main islands by car several years ago and now intend to do it again on my Rocket. Just the other day I was on a tour around Sado Island in Japan Sea when I started having electrical trouble so I got online and went to R3oweners.net for help and picked the first staff name I saw to write to (Joesmoe) and before I knew it he had my distress message out on the forum and suggestions for a fix followed...by the way I was able to fix the problem. The short would occur only when I turned the wheel hard to the right, then the fuse would blow. I made it home with my brake lights, turn signals, and horn working ok but I still need to find out exactly which wire was causing the short. Thanks again to you all...this is a great forum!!!

Hello:

Bought my 2016 Rocket III touring two days ago in Vancouver BC.

Traded in 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan I hated. Love the smooth, quiet power of the Rocket and amazed how great it is in the corners.

So far so great!

Hi all,

I'm obviously new here.

I'm from Belgium, Zoutleeuw and riding a motorbike for 12 years now.

Started with a Honda Shadow ACE 750. After 92K kilometers changed it for a Kawasaki Mean Streak 1500. The Kawa had in the end +120K kilometers.

And now I'm ready for the next adventure. Just bought a second hand Triumph Rocket III. It's from 2005 and has 29K kilometers.
Hopefully I will be riding this one for some years.

I use the bike mainly to go to work. (+/- 140 km a day)

They have changed the battery when I picked it up in the garage, but I'm afraid a screwbolt is not totally fastened, so I was trying to get the seat off. That's how I ended up to the forum.

When I have some time, I will sure look around and do some postings
