I blew one up in Sydney after putting a Super Charger on it, but it was my own fault as I didn't put the lower comp pistons in the motor that came with the kit

It was a Two Brother Racing twin screw kit like this

That's where the low compression pistons already in the R3 engines reduces install costs in the blown R3 versions I presume?

I had an offer to be with twins once, but I wasn't sure if they were really twins, because that girl didn't look identical to her brother.

Make sure you add NOS and a supercharger just so you don't miss the Rocket's grunt mate

If you do all that you will need a parachute to stop it.

I have owned two Interstates. a 99 & 2000. Both bikes were Red & Black. My favorite fairing of any bike made to date. Both performed flawlessly and were very comfortable to ride all day. My wife was always comfortable. I never had an issue with fuel leaking down over night as I always shut the fuel off. Never had issues with the rear ends and I rode them hard when I was solo. They do pull the wheels between gears if you are on it hard. My wife would love to have another one as she thought that was the most comfortable bike we have had. She is not a fan of the Roadster seat at all. I have been looking for another one to be truthful as I am not going to try an turn my R3R into a touring bike. You scored a good deal with that price. And mileage almost doesn't matter with a Honda. If you maintain that bike properly you will get over 100K out of it.

The only reason I may not buy another Interstate is the release of the new Yamaha Venture. A little pricey and heavy but it may be my next touring bike.

I love the sound of the engine. It still has stock exhaust but the piggies have been cut off.

I do too. Honestly I regret selling either one. But I tend to get bored with a bike after a season or two. I try to ride most of the year. I usually have more than one bike so I keep the mileage down on most of the bikes I have owned. However the R3R is gaining mileage. I really love the Triumph. I would normally have had it sold last year as I have had it since March of 15. Its a keeper. But seriously I am thinking hard on another Valkyrie but it will have to be an Interstate. There is no reason to buy a tourer or standard. The Rocket is 5 times the bike those are.
