@legsroses , I did some tire searching and basically your limited on 240 or 245 tires in the 17 inch rim I found 3. And a 12 if you want a 240/40/18. Granted they are not all Z rated but how much time do you spend above 150mph ?

I must respect street code, limiting myself with speed, otherwise I would risk very seriously..
therefore I should forget 17", orienting me for other size.. so for choice isn't wide with 17"..

Right now I've been testing out the new Bridgestone Battle Criuse h50 240/40/R18 V rating and so far I'm really liking them. The 18 inch diameter is larger the OEM but not as large as the 240/55R16 . On the front I and running the 140/75R17 I did this because I wanted to run a matched set for once. Ive run a couple othe 18 rears so far
The stickiest being the Conti Race Attack, and the shinko 005 advance which was the cheapest good tire but the battle cruise has it beat hands down . It almost gets rid of the wet pavement worry. I have been asked to slow down when in a monsoon which I had dropped down10 mph to 65 mph on the BRP. Anyway I had thought about a 17 inch rim also but I still have another 9 or 10 tires to try plus a 250/40/R18 or two to try. The price of that 17 inch rim will pay for a lot of them 18 inch tires.

Nobody makes a billet 17" rear wheel that will fit our rockets?

On the rear of my Classic I run a Michelin Commander 2 240/40/18
On the front I run an Exedra Max 130/70 R18
The front turns in a little too fast for my liking. Next time I'm going with the 140.
