On the rear of my Classic I run a Michelin Commander 2 240/40/18
On the front I run an Exedra Max 130/70 R18
The front turns in a little too fast for my liking. Next time I'm going with the 140.
I want to try them also but the 140 not the 130. And after riding rick bike with the 150 rear on the front I'm going to set one up to take back to Virginia.

With a welf-on mod, I would be concerned about running at high speed 140 plus.
Oops I will not confirm or deny that the speedo on the older rockets will go past zero, I'm not worry about good welds just the bad ones. Now I did have some internal clutch hub problems at high speed :(

Yeah sure, but that was at r-e-a-l-l-y high speed.
I'd buy a 17" billet rear wheel if it fit the Roadster.

See and becuse you can get 9 more 18 inch tires to choose from verses only the 3 you can get for a 17 inch rim I'd stick to 18 inch in the rear.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I shall look into this . . .
Gratitude!

I run the same combo on my 09 Classic on CARBON BST wheels

Nobody makes a billet 17" rear wheel that will fit our rockets?
David Taylor in the UK will make you one - BUT he advises they are show wheels. The rims ARE homlogated - but the hubs are more a show hub.

I had planned to send a wheel to DEGET for a 17" rear rim. But it just seems to me to be expecting miracles. It's never going to handle like a "ground up" sports bike.
