Turn the key on and no power!!

I have been preoccupied with the performance of the bike. Yea I'm slippin.
Sent an email to Triumph HQ USA and the dealer. Waiting to see what they are willing to do.
E. B. kit going on anyway. Just happy I wasn't on the road when it happened.

Nolton Nolton Nolton ......... What are we going to do with you, What can I say if you had only listened to what Every body said about the ignition switch mmmmm you probally took the approach "she be right if it ain't broke don't fix" well guess what I believe in murphys law "if it can go wrong it bloody well will"

Guess its my turn to have the problem.
No power at all after turning the key. Checked the kill switch and the battery. Ok there!
Where should I start first?

I didn't read the whole post, but I had a similar issue just before the warranty ran out.
My 2009 R3 would cut out momentarily while in motion and, at other times, not cycle up when I turned on the ignition - with the kill switch in Run.
It turned out to be a connector in the circuit powering a relay that cycles up the ignition system. The tech by-passed the offending (burned and corroded) connector and all has been well for the last year.

Kinky

I heard vinegar and water is good for the female side ...:D

 Ehhh !! She don't mind ?
Acetic acid is the main component of vinegar (apart from water), and has a distinctive sour taste and pungent smell. It is mainly produced as a precursor to polyvinylacetate and cellulose acetate. Although it is classified as a weak acid, concentrated acetic acid is corrosive, and attacks the skin.

There is an elecrical aerosol spray for cleaning electric componets it works great >>>
CRC CO Contact Cleaner (2015 150g Aerosol, 2016 350g Aerosol) The CO Contact Cleaner is a plastic safe, industrial cleaner that is technically proven, stable, inert high purity cleaning solvent used for electronic equipment cleaning.

This high purity electronic cleaning solvent removes light contaminants, dust, lint, atmospheric oils, fingerprints and moisture from precision electrical/electronic equipment where lower flashpoint solvents may be used.

Anti corrosion cleaning spray

  • Protect electronic equipment from corrosion
  • Non staining and therefore safe to use
  • Rapid complete evaporation and contains no lubricants
  • Leaves no residue to increase resistance
Stable plastic safe cleaning solvent

  • Relays, Switches, Circuit Breakers
  • Alarm and Signal Systems, Printed Circuit Boards, Connectors
  • Generators, Contacts, Terminal Plugs, Jacks
CO Contact Cleaner is an aerosol cleaner that has been technically proven to be safe on plastic surfaces. This precision electronic cleaning solvent leaves no residue and is low in toxity.

Anyone seen what happens to meat and fish thats left over night in vinigar? cooks it nicely..;)
Don't forget the dyslexic grease :D
For Hanso..dielectric grease

yup keep a can handy wouldn't use anything else and I think you mean dielectric grease use it in all plugs and connections keeps that pesky water out and I don't think it needs good reading skills beside now that you have quoted all the writing on the can nobody else has to:D

Dang dude. You have your ****e together.

So your saying I dont want to use vinegar?? She might cook??:D

I plan to use the grease on all the connections that I can get to. Pack them like a proctologist.:D
