I tried pushing the crispy pin out the back and it dont want to move. So do the electrical experts recommend that I cut the wire and create a jumper?

Ordered the E. Beaver kit today.
I will be at M. V. regardless. If I have to drive my truck then I will make myself useful by cooking, talking, listening, making beer runs, etc. :D;)
I will be there!!!!!
Yeah drive your truck, we need a chase vehicle:D

Thats what i would do, trace it back as far as you can and run a separate wire, i had to do that on cars before and it has always worked:)

If I have the bike fixed by then I can trailer it, but it will cost you one favor.

Apple Bottom :D:D:D
