Touring Footboards on Roadster

The Standard and Classic boards are uniform in width with large radiused ends. They DO have different rails and the Standard's are higher off the pavement - a really good deal if you likem the twisties!
The Touring are large and shaped like a teardrop with a flat edge and also likely closer to the pavement than either the Standard or Classic.

Guess I need to look at them first but sounds like standards for better clearance. Also need to price all these parts out. I'm wondering if I can buy all these parts for under $1000. I sure hope so because my Roadster is so uncomfortable for me and as it stands I would have to take the hog for long rideso_O:rolleyes::eek:

You can't buy the parts seperately any longer from Triumph or a dealer. You would have to do a swap with someone hat wanted the roadster setup. Trust me - I had the last "new" setup in the US and needed a gear shifter. Tracked one down with Triumph USA's help and it was the last "new" one in existence.

**** and I was hoping to go to my local stealer and order parts from a 2012-14 standard. Guess this isn't happening anytime soon. Wonder what someone does if they wreck their bike and need replacement parts to fix it?
