My Harley is OK, but it only gets 1/10 the miles the Rocket gets. Nuff said.

Glad to hear you are OK :)
I must admit, I miss the ability to go into a local shop and be able to browse around and check out all the accessories for my bike,
In my opinion this is where the local Triumph shops are dropping the ball a bit. But with that said........ I'm a Rocket owner thru and thru, I'm even considering adding a Roadster to keep my R3T company:D
Cant imagine ever going back to mediocrity on another Harley

Looking at the harley Electra Glide ultra limited... Full loaded touring. I want to add radio and fairing to the rocket III before the crash and still would.

Things I didn't like about the R3

1) triumph USA customer service sucks!!!!!! Totally could care less about the bike rider
2) very hard to get aftermarket add ons
3) Triumph dealer has to do the first bunch of services as I like to do my own work.

POWER!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear you got wrecked, but glad you're OK.

Like Scot in Exile said, though, if you have to ask, then just get the Harley...I hear they're doing just about anything to sell 'em.

Im not sure they need a 6 speed, maybe a higher 5th would do the job.

How come HD engines that are 2/3 the cc of the R3 engine use about the same in fuel with a little over half the HP?

Where does all the fuel go?:D

You've never tried to shift into 6th?

The extra fuel goes into the HD patented sound. Half the gas makes it move, the other half makes the noise. :D LOL
