Torque difference between bikes

I've always heard about 11 pounds per hp, so about 5 kg per hp

Not sure how that works in pounds. Been on a diet for the last month. Lost over ten pounds. Figured at 258 pounds time to lose some. Now at 247 and still going. I am going down to 190 pounds. That is my prime fighting weight. Figure even the odds on my back by losing some weight. For sure it can not hurt. In the mean time the Rocket X will get faster. The new bike should be over the top. No cutting up the bike involved just no Ice Cream.

Wondered what others observed on this subject.
My honda vtx 1800, when you accelerate, it would throw you back as it propelled you forward. On this rocket, no throwing back, just forward. Have you noticed this, and if so what is the explaination? Is it 2 cylinder vs 3?

I dont know what the metric bike weighs, but if its significantly less that could be why it seems to pull harder.

it is lighter by a fair bit but its torque band is way higher......pulls like a schoolboy!
