Today's mod triple filters.

What ever happen to the good ole days when we never ran a filter at all. Just a make shift velocity tube. Sometimes I would kill the engine by putting the palm of my hand over the opening. I put a lot of miles on those two bikes and never thought a thing about it. A little grit kept those rings seated and those jugs scribed clean. Lol

I know it's not the best for performance, but I kind of like the stock filter and air intake system on the rocket. It makes sense to pull all that air through those ports under the seat. It helps keep that heat from the engine from migrating up to the seat and overheating your butt on a hot day. It looks like a great design idea to me. :p:rolleyes::D

A clever design but restrictive and it must go if you want to make max HP

That seems way over priced , i got the elements for just on $200 Aud shipped from the states and the chrome covers from a hotrod show for Aud $60 , you also have to use your OEM Throttle body rubbers and modify them to fit the aircleaner and you'll be needing and air sensor extension ( i used one from the ramair kit ) oh and Bearclaw needs to be trimmed to fit as well , i wouldnt be paying $279 us for one filter
