Today's mod triple filters.

Its the same setup Bull just got K and N elements for the aircleaners

Thanks for the response, M8.
From what I found, size wise they should suck just as much air as the RU2780s . . . and they look WAY better.
My new Ram Air arrived today. I shall replace my RU2780s with it and then see what the dyno results are.

OH Ok you dont care about the power output I forgot then your good to go .

Omniscient one,
Please explain your rationale regarding why/how @Wrecka air filters, having a slightly larger surface area than RU2780s indicates he has reduced his performance from stock?

JUST saying if your changing the filters to improve breathing then there are better choices if you want max flow and If you dont care about maximum air flow then use what ever you like .

WE spend a lot of time Dyno testing air filters and exhaust systems so I can share the test results with Rocket owners that are interested in improving the ROCKETS performance

KEWL!
What are the flow comparisons between trip RU2780s and Ram Air?

What ever happen to the good ole days when we never ran a filter at all. Just a make shift velocity tube. Sometimes I would kill the engine by putting the palm of my hand over the opening. I put a lot of miles on those two bikes and never thought a thing about it. A little grit kept those rings seated and those jugs scribed clean. Lol

I know it's not the best for performance, but I kind of like the stock filter and air intake system on the rocket. It makes sense to pull all that air through those ports under the seat. It helps keep that heat from the engine from migrating up to the seat and overheating your butt on a hot day. It looks like a great design idea to me. :p:rolleyes::D

I've seen it on one and liked the look.
Don't know if I could be comfortable running without filters.
