Thats actually where the name for our Rocket came from mate :thumbsup: There is history with BSA and Triumph . Ill let one of the older fellas fill you in
 
The Trident was built for the Isle of Mann TT. I took my 650 TR6R to Andrews Motorcycles in Boston in1970 and this guy was doing wheelies in the alley on a Trident. They told me it was Mike Hailwood. I wouldn't have known. I test rode a used Trident in the early 2000's but didn't want to deal with the old technology. I remembered the oil stains on the garage floor. Shortly thereafter, a Triumph dealership opened in Reno and I bought a 2004 Bonneville. It was love at first sight, a real back to the future. Shortly after that, the Rocket arrived and the Bonnie was soon history.
