Timing retard on 2014 R3R?

so the only way to truly eliminate the retard in gears 1,2 & 3 are to go into the ecu and load new tune? I wish it was as easy as a plug-n-play cable like I had on my V2K.

Thanks for info. However, to get around the retard in gears 1,2 & 3 on my Kaw I used a plug-n-play cable to bypass the retard. Cable stayed as long as I wanted full power. Other option was to cut wires and solder a resistor in line. That was a bit more work and not as easy to go back to stock.

I have an 04 V2K as well!

Mine was an 05 ltd. The resistor mod worked wonders for that year and the 04 as well.
