Things I really like about my Rocket

Hell, veemax, it does it at 110mph just as effortlessly! :D
Not sure there's too many weak power band areas on the rocket!
As I crossed from France to Germany yesterday and hit the autobahn, I was doing 120k(about 75mph) I flipped off France's speed cameras with the left hand and rolled the throttle with the right. Cruised home at 200k (120ish) thinking how much I'm going to miss the autobahn. No problems rolling on power at that speed either :)

If you are older, the foot positioning and handlebars suck.
im older, isnt everybody that rides a rocket?! handlebars and foot positioning are fine for me, but if not for you, change them! easy enough to do yes?:thumbsup:

I bought my R3R because the foot positioning was exactly what I wanted.

My back can't take the foot forward/lean back posture found on Hardleys and gynecologists couches.

just curious rick, how often were you finding yourself on a gynecologists couch, that you would know they are uncomfy?:roll::roll::roll: .............scott

Been in a delivery room or two in my time, and the visual of that and the similarity to Hardley rider poses always cracks me up.

So, while the posture may be OK while stationary; banging about like that on the roads would have me crippled up in short order.

yeah im with ya rick, just playing with you! weve all seen these hardly dudes cruzin with their legs all splayed out, and the hardly davidson skowl on their face! i still laugh my ass off at em daily. even here in ol wyo, they are every where. they think they look so cool, but their backs are a killing them, but they would never admit it!!:laugh: dead serious, dont get me started on this ****................ too late:D........

My dealer was not into selling me a new R3R with the old foot controls. It sounded like there could be an issue with the warranty, probably related to messing with the brakes. So I bought a 2007 Classic and got a Longhaul seat with backrest. The bars on the Classic have as much pullback as the Ultra Classic bars I had on my first R3. Very comfy.
