I already know about Colorado Euro. My bike was in and out of ther for 18 months with the high idle issue. It was warp that fixed mine. I will never go back and I contested there last labor charge and won. Yes Wayne the service manager is not very honest. Al
 
yep, wayne is the dude i consider a jackass. all about sucking your hard earned cash, he must assume his customers are idiots, but he be wrong
 
I lucked out. So far my Triumph sales and service in Tucson, Performance Cycle, has been great. I love riding my 2014 Roadster. I like the way it kind of clicks when shifting gears. It's very smooth, torquey, comfortable, and the brakes are superb. I dressed it out some with front engine guards, hard bags, passenger backrest/rack, Clearview windshield, and Rivco risers. It has TOR exhaust and tune. Most motorcyclists admire it no matter what they ride. I also have a Harley FXSTS which I enjoy very much. I just love motorcycles and have had a variety starting with a 1961 Matchless 650, but I felt that I had to have a Triumph Rocket 3 while I still can. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
 
I haven't given my dealer the opportunity . . . have not went back there but only once since i bought in 2012.
 
The only reason I'm not riding an 05 is because of a ****ty dealer. He tried sneaking in $1500 extra in the final paperwork. I told him to ****off and walked out. Still couldn't shake the beast though and found mine at a much better dealer a few years later!
 
if any of you captains ever need to buy a new rear drive unit, ask me about them before you shell out 2500 bucks. they dont cost any where near that, but there is a 75% chance your dealer will tell you they do............... scott
 
by the way big al, what kind of seat is that, i either have to get a new seat, or have my corbin seat repaired, as it is now starting to fall apart. probably cost as much to have it repaired as buy a new one?!
 
That's a seat by Russell. Day Long seats they call them. There a little pricey but I would buy it again if I was after another seat. Just do a search for day long seats and they will come up. They have you take a picture of yourself on the bike a couple of different ways and build it off the stock seat. They are way comfortable and I can see why they call them day long. Al

What gets me every time isn't the engine, I expect that awesomeness now. It's how this thing feels in the curves. Sure, I had to put Progressive 444 HD's on it first, but with that and Avons this thing doesn't even have a hint of instability of wobble or wallowing... it's not even a challenge to scrape the footplates, the challenge is to not do it. Just the train-like stability overall combined with the instant power... yeah, there's no way I can ever downgrade from this. And thankfully the mechanical shop I use is awesome, even though ****ing Triumph removed their dealership status just because they were too small to have one of everything on display. They still have the manuals and know-how though.
