- 2014 Triumph Rocket III Roadster
I just came back from a nice 300 km ride this afternoon and during the ride I was thinking about how happy I am with my Rocket. I thought I would list a few things -
1) It rarely matters what gear you are in...it just pulls.
2) When I upshift there is a solid mechanical feel as it slips into the next gear.....Never had that in all the other bikes I have owned over the years.
3) Today I stopped for a coffee at the mid point in my ride....4 HD riders pull in and look at my bike for a long time. Several other non riders walk up to my bike and stare at it, some even talk the HD riders about it...priceless!
4) The solid feel of the bike....Mine is well put together and feels high quality.
5) I never see another Rocket when out riding...not that I would mind but with some other bikes you either pass one every time you ride or you pass a clone/similar model.....Nothing else looks like the Rocket.
