Suspension upgrade question

I ordered the non-adjustable versions - as I have odd handlebars and no clearance for the adjusters.
As it is - they were supplied with rebound damping adjustment for free.

I recently reduced the airgap as initial recommendations from Maxton were amended - I took it down a bit further.
Maxton will ask for your weight etc. Plus your riding style. They are made to measure for YOU so be as accurate as possible.

Major improvement. You can take corners SUBSTANTIALLY faster and with better stability.

I spoke with the guy at gazi shocks yesterday and his recommendation was for linear not progressive springs in the front as he said the progressives go soft quickly. Anybody had that experience?

My Progressive fork springs have over 30K miles on them and still function as well as ever.
One of the top 5 mods I have done and up there with my Progressive 444 rears, JWS Adaptive Leds, Exedra Max rear and 140 front tires & Nels Byersdorf Two Wheel Dyno!

When you put the 444s on did you increase the length from standard height? I know you run the 140 on the front and wondered if you changed the fork angle again by increasing the ride height.

Yes Progressive 444's are rear shocks and the Adaptive LED's are head lights

For unknown reasons, Triumph made the R3R with the rear axle .5 inch lower than the front. WTF?
This is very counter-productive to good handling in the twisties.
I reduced my trail by lifting the rear axle .5 inch with the ExedraMax 240/55R16 and lowering the front axle .5 inch with a 140/75R17 front tire.
Results are astounding and are verified by MANY other Rocketeers.
I have a short 29 inch inseam so I remained at the OEM height of 12.5 inch with my 444s.
