Genuinely surprised , astonished actually by the amount of Owners that like the look of the seat. Understand there is nearly always a compromise between looks and comfort but .... really hope that it is super comfortable considering the compromise.

Actually it reminds me of a tractor seat.....I'm still not sold on the look but the intent was to have a saddle in that after 8 or so hours of riding I'd feel better than I did with the stock seat. Last year I put 14k on the Roadster and next year I hope to add another 20 or so, that's the hope anyway. As for compromise, I don't see your points....I'd rather be riding the bike than starring at it.
Anyway I leave compromise for late nights at the bar.....I think you can figure out the rest.....lol
Cheers
Just that we have done plenty of 1000 klm days (a few back to back) on the Triumph Classic seat we use for trips. Agree i'd rather be riding my bike than starring at it. Like most things , to each their own. As i said i hope it is super comfortable.
Looks Armchair Comfortable ... Very nice. You can't put a price on Comfort and I was wondering about putting the foot down but looks like you have solved
Lol....never thought of it that way, good point. Lucky for me my wife is only 100 pounds soaking wet so no issues there with her thinking her rear end is that big...lol...
It's the wings they put on the seat that makes it wider. Just to explain, when you sit in the saddle those wings make kind of a cup that wraps around your rear end.. Hard to explain, you don't sit on the seat you kind of sit in the seat, it's quite firm, you don't sink in, it's just support. All I can say is that it is comfortable.
Anyway, you guys are right, it does change the look of the rocket, not as sporty with this saddle...
