Rockets Across America VI

He needs to meet Jesus, and I can help with that.

I can't believe he would make a comment like that knowing that I'm one of those riders!! I'm in the pictures for crying out loud. It's one of those comments he can make safely at home behind the computer I can tell you that! I don't why it bothered me the way it did but...... it did!!

Take a deep breath and count till 10, you will feel better, i'm one of the posers he is talking about, i only rode 1,000 miles in one day

Sorry for not checking in. Still trying to get caught up on business. I got back late Tuesday night with no problems.....until I got home. I pulled up next to MB's car, put the kick stand down and let the bike lean over into the car. It went too far before I realized there was a problem with the kick stand. The springs had jumped off and caused it to not go all the way down. No damage except a cracked wind screen. Went 2500 miles without incident and that had to happen. Go figure.

Sure had a great time with a great bunch of people. Until next time!

Glad you made it home !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sawy. Truth be known (some of you already know), I have a medical issue that has had me pre-occupied. Just didn't think about checking back in here. Was more concerned about a doctor's appointment that I didn't want to make...... the real reason for not being too eager in getting back home. The good news is, prognosis is reeeal good but I will have to be in treatment for the next two months.

Best of luck to you. You'll be in our prayers ! Fred

Jeremy (NMRocket) left my house this morning.
We went to the Triumph dealer in Tulsa for him (and me) a t-shirt.
Anyway we met up with Lupe on his wife's new Honda scooter
and Jim (emwolb) on his blood an bone classic.
A nice guy, I enjoyed meeting him.
Went an ate, visited, and he set out for Amarillo to drop his mom off.
He just called and said they made it there safely,
and will head out for home in the morning.
That kid is hardcore, I remember riding like that, but that was a long time ago.
Anyway, he's safe and almost home, just wanted to give everybody the latest update.
Far as I know he's the last one still on the road from the trip.
I'm sure he'll post when he finally makes it home.
It was a pleasure having him, his wife and daughter, and mother as my house guests.
Sandy sure makes a mean pot of potato soup too.
Don't pass it up if you ever get the chance at some.
Just wanted to let everybody know what I found out
