Rockets Across America III

FYI - I'd like for one of you to be ready to wash my bike when I get there, probably early Friday afternoon. I'd like to look nice for dinner. Thanks!

Give George a few beers, Rusty a few beers and myself a few Mountain dews and we will wash your bike for ya.:D

Well, at least get the bugs off the windshield.........

We will have to take turns standing on a ladder though.

Whether you want to ride it after we are done without disinfecting it is another matter entirely.

By my calculations it is less than a month until the "Gathering" begins. Maybe I missed it in one of the earlier posts but has a meeting location been set since we are all staying at different lodgings? Piano and Pigger have done a terrific job of " herding cats" for RAA3. If not for them we would still be discussing when and where. If something is already set, I will wait for the final schedule. If not I would suggest a location be set for Friday night September 5th to meet, since most of us will be arriving on that date. A shopping center, public park, bar, or in this case an old age home would work great. You should be able to recognize me, I will be on a red Rocket wearing a name tag that says "My Name is George and I Ride Bus #6". BYW, that's the short bus.

You are easy to pick out anyway. You have that 'retired peace officer look'.....

Don't forget that camera....you know which one.:)

I had to go back and edit my own typo.. lol Tha.. instead of The. Atleast caption is a word... :)

I would have left it stand. Some posts I read have to be phonetically deciphered to make sense.

Amy and I were discussing that last night. In Europe, most everyone speaks at least 2 languages and speaks them properly as well as writes them properly. I believe Jamie can converse in 4 languages.

In this country, it's getting difficult to find a person who has any command of the language and a bunch butcher it everytime they post......

I always try to proof what I type. Sometimes, I slip up. What is always in the back of my mind is simply that this is a public website and anyone, anywhere in the world that has access to the Internet can view my post.

In this electronic/information age, people form opinions about others from what they read on sites just like this. I'm no exception to that rule.

I try to keep that in mind....always.

Flipper,

I quit drinking after I started to think Amy Winehouse was hot.
