rocket classic.. can you drag the pegs?

Ground the pegs-why??????????? unless you are a very good rider and know what you are doing, most guys brag --did you hear me scrape all the way thru the curve-- well congrats next time enter and exit correctly:evil: the bike has two contact points with the road A-front tyre and B-rear tyre now you bring another point C into the equation then points AorB have to give up some traction.
Now some guys mostly sport bike riders have the hero bobs with different colours when they spark and it does look cool.

What is a "hero bob"?
Couldn't find it on Google . . .

The first thing I had to do when I got the Rocket was get rid of those screw in things on the end of the footrests.
I went into a corner quite mildly and these things had the footrests folding up.
Now, I just lift my foot a little when going into corners so as to let the footrest fold up, I did snap one footrest off when blasting through some winding roads one day, that threw my right foot way back behind me, was a little scary.
I get to use all of the tyre. No chicken stripes here.

YES all the FAT guys scrape everything as the suspension is crushed leaving little clearance LOL

@1olbull , do you have a picture of you grinding them expensive floor boards off :D

VERY pleased to report that mounting the standard boards and rails yielded a couple more inches of clearance.
No dragging . . . UNTIL I became used to them. One ride with Ken @DEcosse into Yosemite and I did this:
No more feeler . . .

Don't know about you, _art, but I have Progressive up front and 444s rear.
I have dialed in the pre-load sag commensurate for my weight.
I get NO wallowing, regardless of the lateral Gs, while in the twisties.
Perhaps you should come to RAA XI and we shall go for a putt? :p
PS:

Unlike some friends on here that I know personally, you do not have the rights to ridicule my weight! :x3: :cautious:
