Roadster 2-up and other questions from someone looking

That price is about average I would say. With the Oil & Gas industry taking a hit right now they are going pretty cheap around Houston these days

when i was looking for mine (a long time ago) Texas,Oklahoma, and Nevada had the best deals. took a flight to Reno Nevada and drove it home.
i would think that would be a decent buy.
if you want to compare check Texas,Oklahoma, and Nevada craiglist.

I'm going for it. I've been hitting Craigslist and Searchtempest for months. There are some better deals in other parts of the country, but by the time the cost of a flight (not to mention time and fuel) are factored in, this looks pretty good in comparison. Thanks for all the replies.

It's an unwritten rule and strict forum policy that whoever buys a Rocket has to come to CA and have a beer with me, what time shall I expect you? :D

LOL, I have a strict policy of avoiding California at all costs. I don't think they let non-liberals, let alone gun owners, in the state. How about we meet in Bend, OR at the Deschutes brewery? I'll buy the first round!

I have to say, this bike is unlike anything I've experienced. I love my Tiger 800XC, and if I can only have one bike that will be it. It swallows up twisty pavement and fairly tough off-road very, very well. But it felt like an underpowered toy after a ride on the Rocket. Just a guess here, but being blown around by traffic doesn't feel like it will be an issue with an 800# bike.

Oh, found a used sissy bar/rack here on the classifieds so that's taken care off.
