Roadster 2-up and other questions from someone looking

I too acquired the AirHawk for my Pretty Pillion and she uses it on all long trip. Go with the back rest that works best with her body type.

the back rest saves the person behind u.
so i would not crack the throttle with a passenger without the back rest:eek:
Passengers need to learn how to hang on. I've never owned a bike with a sissy bar or backrest, done a lot of wheelstands in my younger days and launched the R111 as hard as I can. Still haven't managed to throw Julie off the back.

but you keep trying.

I went and test rode it tonight. All I can say, it's an experience! The shear presence of the bike is impressive, and the torque is unreal. The seating position is different enough from what I'm used to so I took it pretty easy until I got a bit used to it, and unfortunately I never got a good chance to really crank it up due to the roads and traffic. But for that, the shear punch of this thing brings grins.

Bad news is the dealer didn't want to work on price as far as including the ($525!!!!) sissy bar/rack/pad or the crash bars.

Can anyone let me know what they think is a good price on this bike: http://www.empire-cycle.com/default.asp?page=xInventoryDetail&id=1390373&source=craigslist

2012 Roadster, TORS exhaust with tune, windshield, 5400 miles. They want $9,999 which is actually under KBB.

Yea, you will be hard pressed to find that much bike for the money. Just remember our bikes are an acquired taste. Few heed the call of this much bike!
