Repairs done on your Roadster?

Besides regular maintenance (5K oil change/service); only one.

A litle old lady ran into mine while parked at the gas pump, breaking off the right footpeg. New peg installed; problem solved.

I have a 2011 with 24000km, during the first 2000km it pushed out coolant after a long ride. Found the radiator cap was not on all the way from the factory. Loosen the lock screw, turned the cap on all the way, no issues since.
Had very slight coolant leak from the water pump, the dealer replaced the water pump under warranty and no problems since.
The chrome peeled of the chrome rear break master cylinder cover. I took it off and painted it black.
The dealer did the headlight relay upgrade six months after delivery.
I would love to get rid of the vibration at 2200RPM which disappears if I slightly touch the clutch lever. It's been there since day one and has never got any worse, one day there might be a fix.
Still a great bike.

05, bought in 04, clutch switch at 10k milesfan switch relaythat i replaced myself at 30k, now it has around 43k, thats it

2010 Roadster with Triple K&N and Full Jardine system.

@10,500 miles had the Cam cover gasket blowout (slow leak really)

I took it in to my local shop because I just didn't want to get that deep into it. I usually do all the simple mods and maintenance myself.

Glad I did, they reported an "Uneven Surface" and fixed it properly. That seems to be the common thread with these gasket issues.

No other issues for me. And I do run the piss out of her.

15,000 on a Rocket X in nine months, no problems at all. Tires are not cheap working on second set now. Bought Avon's last time and replacing back tire this weekend with a BF Goodrich G force comp 2 A/S 225-55-16. Going to the darkside for the first time.;);););););););) (Bike is stock)

Replace one panel of the chrome radiator cover, which a wayward rock struck and cracked. I reckon if you ride 'em things are gonna get broke.

Besides creating my own issues by modifying the bike, which doesn't count, old fuel in tank clogged injectors and ruined my fuel pump and rotted the rubber washer and spacer in the tank necessitating complete replacement. Sent injectors off to get cleaned (RC Injectors) and now it runs great...
