Launch Control is sketchy at best, but functional.

Interestin', I knew several features like cruise control weren't compatible with the R3, but I didn't know the Launch Control actually worked. (Albeit you said sketchy) It would be nice to be able to launch in a controlled manner that doesn't allow the front end to lift up. When I re-tuned the bike the first time, I tried out it's power and scared myself half to death. Power wheelie + rear wheel slippage = much more conservative riding from that point forth.

When i say sketchy, I should expound to clarify.

What I consider Launch control, as a system should have an adjustable RPM so you can match it to the surface, provide just enough thrust to go as fast as you can without lifting the front tire.

What it does in practice is more of a 2-step, you set the launch RPM, it will hold it there while the clutch is pulled and when you launch the bike then limits power a bit using the secondaries until 20 mph (or kmh I don't recall at the moment). It doesn't prevent wheelies or burn outs. It's really just a 2-step.
