Curious what size Commander II is on your front.
I only got 4K on the one I tried, but it was a 140, not a 150.
Good to hear about your good mileage as I will likely try another Michelin up front after this Azaro I recently installed.
Interesting that you are running mixed radial and bias as that's supposedly taboo! Then again, running a car tire is supposed to be taboo as well??? Go figure!
You having the Exedra Max on front and the Avon on rear seems counter intuitive to me as well, but then, I ride a Roadster, not a Touring.
This combination was a result of replacing the Rear OEM metz with the Avon Cobra at 6000k Gaaawwwn! then old mate at the bike shop advised me to try the bias Exedra max Front as he was getting good reports from other riders of big cruisers of this front tyre so here I am 8000ks later the tyre is still 60% according to the tread gauge and doing the job nicely, the front Metz lasted 10000K but was badly cupped .

You cannot run a radial and a bias on the same axle, so no problem there for motorcycles - as long as they aren't trikes. You can run a radial on the rear and bias on the front, but not the other way round.
