Thanks for the advice guys, I have however decided to go with the upgrade from "Maxton suspension". They have a very good reputation over here & the list of riders they service is impressive. Also they are situated just up the road from where I live. Maxton Suspension home page
Now that WILL interest me - compression,rebound and preload adjustment - bleedin expensive and a long wait (I'm told) though. BDP's? Maxton Suspension bdp

From memory of last year I think they were around £400 pair

A 7 day turnround from time of order to finished build, it changes with the season but right now it's 7 days. Price depends on adjustments required but around £400-£600 approx (info as of yesterday) then + fitting unless you do it yourself. Not for me though setting valving & air gap is for the pro's.

John, if that's the case I can call them, I didn't realise you weren't dealing direct - don't want you thinking I'm a lazy git. :whitstling: :D

Back to your dyno run, what ECU map was used - std Classic or other?
 
OK Colin, never think of you as Lazy - just Idle:D I was going to deal direct but having dealt with Tim (Hammer& Tongs) I will let him do it, I feel that I can more easily go back & meither him when needing adjustments.
The MAP in ECU is 20218 for all standard with TORS
 
I'd ask about all the options Colin. GP20 (V1,2&3), GP30 and BSD
I asked Richard at Maxton yesterday about the GP20 v GP30, he recommends the GP20 based on price & design features, the 30's are really for sports bikes. I ordered mine today (GP20's with compression, rebound & preload adjustment. Now told that there is a 2 week turnround on them,- on Thursday it was 7 days, how things change.
 
It's the first time Iv'e seen the dip, but as I said to Chris (barbagris) I'll just ride right through it. It's always put a smile on my face but now I'm laughing all the way -to the bank (getting more money to pay for it). I think now that Iv'e gone as far as I want to, my only thing now is to up-rate the front suspension.
