RAMAIR Filters bespoke Rocket-3 underclaw filter.

wish i'd had a base line run done for comparison, but the bike sounds great an goes pretty well. Thanks to Colin and Chris for their time and effort on this. LOVE THE SOUND !!!!!!:D

Ah but the trick is going to be getting the Claw to stay on with the filters so not even that has to come off ;) - A different claw obviously.

There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't. :whitstling:

I have done a trial run put on the ramair filter and claw bolted back on then lifted the tank up and down no issues matter of fact today I removed all the body work both wheels and removed the brake rotors (one screw ripped I had to use my welding torch a dremel tool and finally good old screwdriver and hammer to remove the sucker they are torqued heavily and blue loctite is added what a pain anyway done.. I also ordered an exedra max stateside with shipping and custom I saved $100, from the canadian average price.
all in all a good day

So far you've been the only person to share dyno numbers with us on Ramair--thanks!
Had mine on the Dyno Friday. Ramair filter fitted 2nd baffles removed, had PCV with A/T fitted at same time. Heres the results for what good it is, I also havn't got a baseline graph. Since this I have fitted a cat by-pass & going back on the Dyno tomorrow (hopefully), will post results.

Do you have TORS with secondaries removed? What's the noise like from the filter?

TORS with secondaries removed. a slight popping from the filter which sounds really nice actually, had it back on the Dyno today having removed the catbox on Saturday, attached new graph. The sound is bloody fantastic, better now with a trim to the tune, decel popping with cat remove has almost gone but the exhaust note now drowns out the sound from the filter, unless you listen very carefully. All in all I'm very pleased now, performance is superb & I'm happy that it's running right. Hope that answers your questions dobro, fully recommended.

Being pleased with it is all that matters John, cant wait to get mine on the dyno - shouldn't be as much improvement as yours though as keeping everything standard apart from Ramair.

I found the improvements in bhp and torque with cat removed interesting! +3.44% and +6.22% respectively - would have expected them to be bigger.

The dip in torque at around 3000 is still there, that is supposed to be a 'feature' of the triple 2780's isn't it?

It's the first time Iv'e seen the dip, but as I said to Chris (barbagris) I'll just ride right through it. It's always put a smile on my face but now I'm laughing all the way -to the bank (getting more money to pay for it). I think now that Iv'e gone as far as I want to, my only thing now is to up-rate the front suspension.

mate, if you are upgrading front suspension, i can personally testify to the brilliance of Wilbers. They completely transform the bike and you'll love it.

I can second that , having ridden Ponters bike ..most 'planted and stable' front end I've ever experienced .
