RamAir filter for Touring model ?

Those figures of mine equal roughly 50 mpg...divide the kms by 8 then multiply by 5 to get miles...there are approx 4.5 litres to the gallon....so you are getting 10.6 kpl when you were getting 14.2 kpl. My storm which had K&N filter, decatt, short tors, pcv and dyno was returning 15kpl as a comparison..
You're getting 50 MPG on your Roadster!!?? Is that normal? I would think the Roadsters would get lower milage per _____! hmmm.

Yep...i did!..couldnt believe it!...mum was in the Prado and i was truckin along with her doing about 45-50mph...i could have covered the 400 kms on one tank!..in saying that, it must have been running lean to do it as it hasnt been touched by a dyno since new...not a good thing in my opinion....good on the pocket but not in the long term.

P.S. I still have the receipt in my folder for the gas...I put in 15.190 litres at the pump and had done 277 kms. That equals 18.235 kpl. Now using the conversion chart on the computer it converts to 42.9 mpg...so I was out a fair bit...Don't know how but there you go!...my maths need attention! HMMMM, this humble pie i'm chewin on is a little off! Still, it wasn't bad mpg all the same.

No need to worry about the math, man. That's still good economy. I was getting between 38-41 depending on quality of fuel used. Still, I find it remarkable that with your engine being tuned as a "hot rod" from the git-go..that you're getting as good or better than that of a "de-tuned" Touring. Maybe a gear ratio differential? hmmmm.
Anyhow..thanks for the input. I'm thinking of talking to the Dyno-guy and seeing if he can up my mpg(kpl) without taking all my new power(yikes)!

Just to put it straight for you, when I did that trip, I didn't have the ramair , I did have tors, k&n filter, & decatted for flow reasons. I have since added the ramair and installed the pcv and disconnected the o2 sensor. I am awaiting the dyno tune....so I am interested in what the fuel consumption will be once dynode.
