I contacted RAMAIR last week about the crack I had with mine. Their Customer Service were apologetic about the failure and promised to have one sent out immediately. I expected to see it in about 2-3 weeks like before, but I was surprised when it arrived today (West coast of Canada) after only 6 days. I am very happy with how they handled this.

Good to hear they'll stand by even a niche product like this. Makes me feel even better about ordering one.

You did well getting a replacement that quickly .. know other Owners have been waiting quite a while to receive their promised replacement. Another Owner that wouldn't run Ramair again even if they did replace his .. their handling of his problem has left him less than impressed.

Well just went out and checked mine , rear and middle torn 90% off and front one small rip . All i can say is ****en rubbish and a waste of time and money i wonder how long i have been sucking in dirt and who knows what else . I will post up pics later , i hope i can get something fixed before the weekend i was going down to the Island classic racing at Phillip Island .

I think that everyone who has their clamps done up firm will have split neck rubbers. That must be at least 10 now that I know of.

Bruce mine were never over tightened because i read all the hype about them popping off so done up firm but not over done for sure . Very dissapointed with the quality .

Mine weren't over tightened either because Neville told me not to over tighten them and I found if I did them up firm it would pop off, so I had to find a happy medium, just firm enough to not pop off.

I have said mine is ok but I think I will pull the unit off and have a real good check.it's only been on for about 4000km, certainly be pissed if it's cracked.
