rake out front

You guys have a few drinks then get off topic.
That Boss Hoss doesn’t have a big rake , and the two bike seems to be close in size that I could make my Rocket look like that.I think it would make the Rocket sweet looking .
And Like I said I rode that boss Hoss and thought it handled just as good as the Rocket.
Yes I agree those bikes that are raked out too much would handle like crap but this one did not.

Raking a rocket front end brings to my mind an old song called come softly to me.
Dumb dumb Dum Dee Doo Dee Dum Dum . . .

Nothing wrong wth my Rocket just looking for a change and thought if I can’t buy That oss Hoss and I like that look , why not make my Rocket look like that since there basically the same size bike but the Boss Hoss has that little take and thought it handle great.
Oh I got the Cobta in front and Bridgestone on back. My Rocket handles nice just want to do a cool change of possible:)

Scot in exile, have you riden the new redesign 2018 Boss Hoss? A totally new animal they have traction control even they redone there transmission they say it’s bullet proff that it can take you even playing hard in second.
i have riden a few different older models and surprising they where cool and fun to ride and handle surprising not bad for such a big bike, but a huge difference in the 2018 I would say go ride a 2018 and see how well it handles and perhaps your understand why I’m saying why can’t I have that look on my Rocket, why wouldn’t the Rocket handle just as good when there seemed to be close in size now? Like look at that picture of me sitting on that 2018 it’s not a huge bike anymore.

If you already know this, disregard.

Rake

If the rake gets too far in front of the trail the steering will get floppy and heavy. If too short, it will get very quick and can get squirrely. This is why you now see choppers with the goofy frames that have the steering neck way up in the air.

It probably can be done on a rocket, its just one of those $$ things to get all the custom work done.
