Radiator and Clutch cover removal video

Benny,

Excellent video. Much appreciated. I bet you teach in one of the colleges for the trades. If not...you have the knack. Keep the videos coming.

Thanks

Greg

We'll done Benny I will be keeping these in my library so if I ever need to do it I will have a good reference and I am sure it will save me a lot of time, thanks for taking the time to do it mate!
Cheers Pete

I cannot thank you all enough my friends.. You will have a laugh Gregger when you find out that i pack soups and Sauces into cartons for our local Grocers for a living.. Sometimes i wish i traveled a different path, but i'm sure that i'm one of many..;)

Warp i had a look at the serial numbers for you and mine is 3249082. I looked at my build date for the first time and my machine is actually built 05/2007. Glad you brought that up, now i know mines a 07 model. I'll have to confirm this with my mate about the build time but there is a bike somewhere here in Oz which is an early or late 06 model and it has a Black engine. Before my friend sold it he tried buying parts for it and he had dramas trying to convince the guy that the bike came from factory with a black engine. So after a few calls to Triumph he got confirmation that it was a factory release and not a swap.. Strange jazz..o_O

And thank you too Warp for your input, please share all that you can in regards to this as it will help many gain more confidence and to lead them down the right path. Unfortunately there are many Motorcycle workshops who don't have our best interests at heart. So many of us are walking or riding away with lighter wallets..:(

Thats amazing Benny my 06 classic built in I believe April of 06 ( I have the date covered with my Supercharger traction fluid tank so do not hold my memory to the exact date) I bought in August of 06 has a engine serial number of 3260042 . Sometimes trying to figure out Triumph can be hard.

That was a great how to Benny thank you for that I just replaced mine with MTC with warp giving me some pointers but this would have been nice to see last week haha but I think ya did a great job

Thanks Watcher, glad you liked it mate. .:)

Warp, I just talked to mate about his Rocket. It was actually an early built 2005 with a black engine.. So I guess you can say that Triumph are trying to keep things interesting..

Definetly make for a intersting view as to when the black engines came in. I wonder if it originally had a silver engine and failed to make the Quality mark and was sent back to Triumph for a new engine? Or Triumph sent one down so they could install it. At this point I am just guessing but it makes for a hard time helping people unless they take the engine apart first so you can see what they have.

I count myself lucky as I have told a bunch of guys what to buy before hand and have not run into the wrong parts yet. I am starting to think keeping my bloody mouth shut would be safer so as not to piss anyone off or steer them wrong. I am still trying to figure out why your engine is older then mine but your bike is newer ?
