Poll: How do you shut down your Rocket?

Always been a key for me.

The key - just the key and nothing but the key.

Simply because not all bikes have kill switches or side-stand switches - Thank god!.

Nearly always use the side stand. Dropped it once cos it rolled off the stand in neutral

For 70000miles I have used the side stand in fact I use the side stand on all my bikes, plus if you use the side stand you are not one of them idiots who gets off the bike then the bike falls over

Kill switch 99% of the time. I wasnt even aware that it was a no-no. Hummm interesting thread here. I guess i will try the key from now.

Kill switch in an emergency - it comes to mind first. Key normally, and if I forget those 2 on the rare occasion I've used the sidestand. (by default)

1. find neutral
2. kill switch off
3. side stand down, turn bars
4. key to lock position.
5. key in pocket.

in the same order every time.
