Not to rub it in on you Northern guys but...

In sunny L.A. Calf. For a while. Back from Mexico.

Felt good to go into a motor cycle shop. Had Triumph line but no R3s. young lad "helping" me never heard of R3s. With the traffic congestion I can see why R3 not on the show floor. The Thruxton sure looks like an L.A. ride.

Looking for Joe Rocket jacket (Super Ego) with leather zip out front & back, exposing mesh front & back. Seems like a good warm to cold weather leather jacket option.

Anyone have any experiance with this jacket?

L.A. 71 degrees and my R3 is in Wa. St. @ 32 degrees. :(

We just got power back a few days ago from the Ice Storm in lower Ontario. Now, we just have tons of ice and snow to deal with till spring! I haven't even had a single chance to ride my rocket once since it was delivered.... help !!

You want help okay go get on your bike start it up and close your eyes and imagine your ridin:laugh:

Around here (Michigan) they use road salt by the ton. My car is black but looks gray between washes. Even if the roads are dry it's still everywhere. I wouldn't dream of riding my R3 in that. Even in the spring it doesn't come out until we have had some serious rain.

Same here.. It's -20c this morning, and you can really see how much brine and salt they put on the roads lately... the roads are literally filthy with chunks of salt everywhere. I wont take my bike out until we've had some really good pouring rain and you can see the crap going down the drain. Soooo that puts me on schedule to ride my bike for the first time in..... April or May.

Us here in Ottawa feel for you, we went through a much larger ice storm in 98, 2 weeks worth of ice rain, hydro towers collapsing, we did have the military come in to assist us, had hydro crews from all over Canada and the northern states helping us. I know we have sent crews to GTA, I saw a convoy of City of Ottawa tree crews heading to Toronto on the weekend, it sucks, we know, good luck. We are a balmy -29C with a - 38C windchill right now, the die-hards are heading to the Rideau canal to skate to work.......yes, we are an odd bunch up here.
