WOW 37.5 at 85-90 mph thats surprising cant complain about that
The first tank I thought was a fluke, but the second did exactly the same. I was shocked. Better mileage at a slightly faster speed, and 265 hp.

Just think what it would be like if your bike did not have to carry someone the size of a Grizzly Bear :D
Come down here and eat this good coonazz food all the time, and you won't stay koala bear size for long. :p

I find it interesting that some of the people going on and on and on about the Rocket not needing taller gearing have themselves added enormous horse power to their bikes. No one in their right mind "needs" 265 hp on a road bike either. To be honest, no one actually "needs" 2300cc in the first place. The fact that the Rocket has final gearing similar to anything else is completely irrelevant in the context of "wanting" taller gearing on a bike that clearly can handle it, in the same way that many people "want" more power.

Our rockets could use some higher gearing. It's doubtful that any aftermarket is going to provide it. If the rocket ever gets it, it will likely come from Triumph on new models as an attempt to meet emissions in the future.

Yep.

Doesn't matter that 30 mph is cheap entertainment. The bike COULD run 80mph at 2500RPM; still have the power to pull away AND go 200+ miles between fill ups.

But, lets all ***** about a lack of color options; ....cause getting a paint job is sooooo expensive. LOL!

I Just got off my Boss Hoss which has been down for six months sine I got in a accident back then. It just loafs along at 1500 to 2200 rpms from 0 to 80 mph depending which of the two gears you're in. I like the low rpms and high torque, our Rockets are supposedly the largest production motorcycle engine made yet they're geared like the others with half the power. i would buy a kit if one was made that would raise the overall ratio so that each gear would be a little higher than is now. Mines got enough power to pull it easy and its pretty much a stock RT3.

Yeah I must admit that the whole "world's largest production motorcycle engine" had me scratching my head for a bit especially with bikes like the Boss Hoss and Barbarian motorcycles on the market which have V8 (5.7 litre for the Babarian) engines in them. Then it dawned on me that it is all in the wording, the R3 has the largest production MOTORCYCLE engine in the world, the others are CAR engines that have been installed in bikes, the R3 engine was designed for and solely used by a motorcycle.
