Good thing Triumph has more class than some of its consumers then hey.
Probably would be one hell of a bike but leave the Rocket alone i say or use a different name if your going to do it. Half the people wanting the extra power cant handle the power they already have .They just think it will make their little dicks seem bigger or something

Answers on a postcard :)
THAT sport touring version looks nice if you want a fairing and bags

Not the sport tourer but dress out the Touring into a full blown land yacht rig with fixed fairing, audio, cruise (as part of a ride-by-wire overhaul), top case, etc. Rocket III Grand Touring.
TOO BIG land yacht Ill buy a sports car about the same size like a MIATA Ican get a nice used one for under 10 grand

Correction to previous post on RPM at speeds.

Hooked up a blutooth ELM and ran the Torque app with GPS MPH last night.
At 80 mph (per gps) the RPMs are a touch over 3.2K.

Me or the calculator I used earlier must have some issues. Motorcycle gear/rpm/speed calculator

Gonna have to play with shift points too. I don't really feel like I need to bounce off the Rev limiter with the R3; but I was shifting before 5K easy. Should get a bit faster running second out nearer to 6K.
