New Shield Plastic - Any Recommendations?

Cee Bailey are acrylic. These also go on airplanes. I don't believe it's the same material as Clearview but I could be wrong. I've had both and both are good.

@ksquared, I have a Triumph branded tall screen from a 2010 R3T, hardware included, that I had listed on here for $325. The shield is flawless and honestly the hardware is, too. If you're interested, PM me. I agree that National Cycle (and Triumph by default) have better durability than some of the aftermarket manufacturers. Also, the failure under your toll mounts might have been from increased vibration in that area. Plexi fails easily under tension, so adding even a menial amount of weight in one spot can cause larger deflection in that area on the shield.
I appreciate the offer - but I actually have a (nearly) factory fresh tall screen for the R3T. I found that I had to look through it, rather than over it and I didn't care for that. Also - for the 1,000 miles I actually used it - I noticed a definite drop in fuel mileage - probably related to the increased frontal area. So I don't think that's the answer for me - although I am planning to go 2" taller than the stock 16 on whatever replacement I decide to get.

I've got a triumph shield that's about 23" from top to the headlamp opening. It's not stock then, I guess. I understand the fuel economy consideration... I didn't notice much difference in mine with or without the shield.

Nope - Triumph has the exclusive to them.
Barbigris: I've heard back from National Cycles. Their reply:

"Hello Kerry,

Yes, we did make the windshield plastic for Truimph in the past. We don't stock any replacements for windshields sold by Triumph. The only place to get a replacement would be from Triumph."

Oh well - will continue to search. I like the idea of a coated screen.

Clearview 16'' with air box coming this week. I will let you know how it is once I get her mounted and out for a spin!
Jag: I don't know how tall you are - but I'm considering going a couple of inches higher - 18 or 19 inches. I figure I'll still be able to look over the screen - not through it. i'm also considering the Clearview with the vent and the recurve lip to deflect the windstream a couple of inches higher.

Check out 7JUROCK with the flip. I have one on my Victory and love it. most likely will end up with one on my Roadster when I toss the stock shield.

I just checked there and they do NOT offer anything taller than the stock 20" height!?!?
I will say they are much less expensive than Clearview!

I ordered a Clearview and added just one inch in height and one half an inch on each side to the width. I ordered the top to have the slight recurve as they say it raises the wind about two more inches. I also ordered the vent. I like the stock Triumph windshield but I wanted the vent and the recurve, I added the inch in height but I don't think I really needed it. It takes about a month or more to get it.
