Bridgestone must be adding gold dust and diamond chips to the compound of those Exedra Maxes being sold in OZ!!!

Metz and Avon cost even more.

For those running the Bridgestone Exedra 240, what are they running up front? Are there legit concerns about running a mix of radial and bias tires? Not thinking it would be a great idea, but I don't know Jack. I love, love my Avons, but am thinking cost since we all wear tires out fairly quickly.

I do not require a 140-180 mile an hour tire.

You probably shouldn't mix radial and bias tyres. I've been running Avon on the front with no complaints; worked great with Metz, Avon and Bridgestone on the back. Going to try a Bridgestone next.

Hey,down here in Australia I just paid $435 AUD cause I shredded my tyre chasin my mate on an XR1200 up the mountans in aus.

Ironically Metz cost more than Avon. Bridgestone is a little cheaper than than both and far superior. But you'll be paying $400 + whatever you use Downunder unless you do what a few of the Brissy boys did recently and import a batch.

I'm up for a group buy around here (Canberra, South Coast) if anyone else interested. Kiwi, Brian?

front metz 185 euros mounted and balanced.....rear avon mounted and balanced 277 euros....im in spain..

Never paid over $400 for a ME880 rear at my regular tyre shop, Tyres4Bikes. Been robbed a couple of times when i've been travelling though.
