"And this one is just right" ~ Goldilocks
I'm down a full quart since the last (first) oil change. I changed the oil at 600 miles and checked it every so often at first. Seemed OK, then this morning, 3,000 miles later it's down a quart. WTF?
There's another post here where someone had an oil issue. They said... "Yesterday the dealer calls me and advises me yup, the oil pump was missing a oil seal from factory, he said it's not the first time on these models." Brand new Rocket 3 burning oil issue

The OP never gave us an update, and I'm not sure that's the issue I'm having, so starting another post here.

I'm up for any ideas you folks may have. I'm not seeing any smoke or noticeable change in performance. No leaks. I did put in more oil at the change than was called for, just to get it up to the midway mark, but didn't think much of it at the time. Maybe an extra half quart. Not sure if the oil pump seal is the issue or something else. I'm wondering when I do my next oil change how many quarts will drain out.
Also wondering how I should present this to Triumph. Kinda doubting they'll just take my word that it's using more oil than it should and tear into it. I bought the bike used, so I don't have a specific dealer to report this to, but I believe the warranty transfers. This bike has less than 4,000 miles.
I did some moderately hard riding today for about six hours. No dramatic shift, about the same level, but these bikes never gave consistent readings.

Just purchase a brand new 2020 Rocket 3R March 30th 2021. A week later noticed that when you load the engine a little it would hesitate. But nothing prepared when I noticed these huge blue puff of smoke behind me when you would load the engine ever so slightly. In the video I attached, notice i...

R3 GT 2020: oil consumption
Dear R3 owners, I am not a mechanic, my English is not as good as expected but I need your advice and help and I thank you in advance for that. I put 6.509 miles in the new R3 after first service and I am obliged to add 0.11 quarter (0,1 litre) of oil every 250 miles (400 km)to keep the level...

Oil Consumption
I asked this in the FB group as well, but should I be concerned with my oil consumption? I checked oil before a long trip and it was about halfway. About 2k miles later I checked it again and it's below the minimum. No visible leaks or smoke from exhaust. I've never owned a bike that drank oil...

Engine oil transferring into void
2020 R3GT at dealer for service, 1 year 4,500 miles. refilling engine oil it took about 1.5 litres over the capacity to even register on the dip stick. Triumph tech say the oil is transferring into a void in the engine where an oil seal has been omitted on assembly. Repairing it under warranty...
