This cam (left vs stock) works well at least up to 7000 rpm with stock valve springs, retainers etc.

Who is the manufacturer of the left cam? also do you have any horsepower and torque figures for this cam with intake and exhaust mods?
 
At post # 255 Phil posted a dyno chart showing 227hp from 119 stock, that is an increase of 108hp with "cams only"

At post # 271 I compared that "cams only" chart to one of a carpenter 210 kit cams, valves, headwork, & Brute exhaust 215hp up from 119 stock only 96hp increase.

So if the truth is being told here, Do Not bother paying for Carpenters famous headwork/valves etc as this will give you LESS power than "cams alone" according to their own dyno charts

Yes Art I know you have said (Many many times) you have got as much as 227 from the 210 kit with brutes

So how come the very best from full 210 kit can only just equal the supposed "cams only" you are bragging about.
 
It is just the intake cam. We used it with stock outlet cam and modified cam timing.
With high compression pistons and a good full exhaust system you will get about 180-190hp/6500 and 180-185 p/f (240-250Nm).
Depends on how you adjust it.

THE fact is we make well over 200 HP with just our cams kit progress my friend progress and there is more coming we find more HP as we fiddle and tune and try new cams etc So stop complaining get used to it means more power for the ROCKET FANS

NO all cams use springs keepers and lifters you choose to use the stock ones we use our own
Yes that is because you choose to make your power up higher where you need to have the better springs etc etc blah blah to keep the motor safe at the higher Revs!
so in other words it is not just the cam but also the extra bits just mentioned that allow you to go to higher rev ceiling to produce the extra power
So it is not " Just Cams" is it

WELL we make 200HP at 6000 rpm not 6800 rpm and we dont have extra bits the same amount of bits as stock but better bits LOL
 
we're going around in circles now. I'm really glad there's aftermarket support for the rocket. The HD market is so big if you grab a screamin eagle catalog there's about a dozen cams to choose from so the owner cam put the power just about anywhere he wants it. My 251 cams had the torque really come on at about 3500 rpm and what an awesome feel all the way to redline, would it be too much to hope for a street tuned engine like that?
