Innovv K5 camera system

Follow any wiring harness up to the front windshield/panel and come out from there. Golden.
Is it possible to tie to wiring harness without removing the gas tank? I'll look again, but when I looked this morning, it was not evident how to tie up to that

Definitely run it along the left side. The right has all the coils and a lot of other obstructions. The first time I did it without removing the tank by taking a long zip tie (or a stiff wire) and sliding it on the left side (front to back I believe) keeping it high. You'll go over the rubber tank brace that is near the middle of the tank. Now if you secure it high up on the front with a small zip tie, so that it doesn't hang down and find the best path out where the tank meets the seat you'll have it- good enough. Mine has not shown any signs of melting (over 20K miles).

Since then when I had the tank off I added a couple of zip ties to the frame but it really wasn't necessary, just looked a little neater. Here's a photo showing what's under there, including my wires for my front marker lights and the camera wire....

Thank you! This is perfect!

One more question...
For the rear camera, how did you route the cable from under the seat (assuming along the transmission) to the license plate area? I can't seem to get it clean enough

On an unrelated note, took the rocket out for the first open back roads ride this morning - holy moly... The torque is insane (and that's despite me being careful to stay under the break-in guidelines since I don't have 600 on the odometer yet)

The support rails are open on the backside. I might heat shrink that fat connector just to make it very waterproof. No probs in 5k miles though. Undo that one bolt and go under the mudguard. There is a perfect mounting bolt under the turn signal stalk.

Just wait until you pass the break in period. Miles of smiles! And another when you add the Penner tune and really let her shine!

Thank you - those pictures are perfect!

I will read up more on the penner tune, but given I have the storm version, I suspect I may not need a tune at least initially I thought most ECU maps were to open up the non-storm R3 to the 180Hp. Guessing the penner tune does more than that - I will read up once I get back

No prob, This board is great to get answers for Triumph idiosyncrasies that are sometimes baffling. I think you are right that the Storm did away with the 1-3rd nanny and opened up the map. You are in for a treat after break-in!
