Innovv K5 camera system

Baby needs a bath...

The rear with double-sided adhesive. The front using a zip tie. It would be better if I extended it forward a bit- the headlights clip some of the view.

How stable is the front video with a zip tie mount?

Here's an example. More stable than the bike when I hit some oil in a turn.....
Yikes - sorry to see/hear that scrape :( On a related note, how did you lift it back up? I know how to lift a traditional cruiser (that has engine guards, so it is not lying flat on the side). Without crash guards, how do you get this back upright? Just muscle thru' it? Or is there a technique to it?

Thanks. Yeah, I just used the traditional back to the bike, squat and lift technique. I had a lot of adrenaline, still in the road (but with room for cars to get around) and pretty pi$$ed at the situation. I'm 5'6" and 165 - it can be done, even with a cracked/bruised rib.

Blake,
So sorry to read of your liw-side.
I hope you and your motor are OK?
I'd like to see a pix of your camera mount.
Although impressive, it looked like too much lean angle to me??

Naw, we’ve been through some pretty good corners together and he had more to give. Oil or snail snot. Both really suck in a corner. 🤪

On a related note, I mounted my front camera with 3m tape on that little curved metal piece in front of the display. It shoots through my GT windscreen without distortion. Rear by plate.

Sorry about all the questions - but now that I got my Storm GT and am working on installing the camera, I've got one more :)
How did you route the front camera cable (from under the seat? Between the engine and gas tank I assume - but that area likely gets really really hot - hotter than my Harley did. Worried that the cable might actually melt (esp if it touches the top of the engine)
Did you use some 3m tape to stick it to the underside of the gas tank?

Follow any wiring harness up to the front windshield/panel and come out from there. Golden.
