I can’t believe we made it

We explored abandoned mines, dove off train bridges, hung out at school playgrounds at night, took our guns to school to hunt afterwards, stuff my kids will never be able to do, the cops would roust us now and then, but now you'd get arrested for trespassing and God knows what else.

Raced cars down Broadway, parked our trucks on the courthouse square with the tailgates down, cooler in back, sitting on tailgate drinking beer waving at the Sheriffs deputy’s as they drove in and out of the jailhouse located across the street from the square...... etc etc.....
 
Well these actually apply further back.... 60’s 70’s

I got it. People learn from their mistakes and move on with a little better knowledge. I'm just looking at the positive side of Dirtbagbikers post (tongue in cheek). It was posted with positive intentions and that's the way I received it. I do understand what you're saying though.:thumbsup:

I agree with Joesmoe, there were those who were discriminated against and or otherwise held back when I was growing up (60s- early 70s). But for the most part the playing field has been leveled, but many are still wanting to be, or playing the victim.
