Hydraulic clutch release went pop

Just remember not to mix DOT 4 with 5. One is glycol-based, the other silicone. You can mix DOT 4 with DOT 5.1 since they are both glycol-based.

Right, except it's hard to flush completely. I changed lines when I did mine, changing bars or adding risers

Ok so I've decided to replace el-cheapo master cylinder/reservoir/lever assembly and give a good old OEM Triumph Nissin unit a go.

It looks just like the Rocket brake lever, adjuster and all, so improved symmetry there, unfortunately it's for a 7/8" bar so i will have to ream the clamp bore and anodise it.

Also need T2042035 to get the clutch switch.

While I'm at it, another improvement to be made - the bull nose slave nut TTS give you looks like this, and doesn't quite mate with the slave properly.

Leaves marks in the slave

What happened me at least, is the nut settles into the pocket over time, requiring me to regularly adjust the clutch pullrod before i ran out of stroke* for a period before it settled down.

Hopefully the Triumph Nissin master cyl will displace a little more, giving a better pressure plate lift.

*the el-cheapo master cylinder imparts 1.3mm of stroke on the slave, making it extremely fine line between not enough grab to change gear and too much resulting in slippage or a bust slave o-ring.

So now this proper Buell 1125R slave nut is on the way too. It should fit perfectly into the slave and then there'll be no adjustments and associated unreliability

Link to EPDM o-rings (ones that come on the slave are 2.5mm a-section, and the slave groove is 45mm so these should work);

Looks like a better option,it is probably just a matter of time before the cheapo fails.

I would agree. Any plans on updating your system?

The more I read about TTS - the happier I am that I have homologation issues - so did not supercharge.

I know a lot of the UK Buell crowd very very well. Know (though not in the biblical sense) the R&D team for the Oberon slave. And most of the testers.
What a bodge by TTS.

Yes I removed the master cover and my fluid is not looking very good either. All the chrome is comming off the lever and the master is looking old.

Thanks for reporting the upgrade parts to try as I will go this way as well.
I will try to get the new nut and slave seals at the same time
