How old is too old for an old man to be riding a R3R.

121 yrs and 6 months
WTF...get real mate, there is no way I'll be riding when i turn 121 & 6 months. I've vowed I'll hang up the boots on my 120th birthday. I reckon the arthritis will get too much by then...you never know though;)

I'm not supporting what I'm fixing to say but have realized that this could be an option at an older age. A nice truck and a good trailer. I saw a lot of bikes on trailers while on a trip to Gatlinburg TN. I looked at the owner and most was of elderly age. This gives them the option to ride the bike in the mountains, to enjoy a ride, to get their "fix" of riding a motorcycle and when tired or hurting they can trailer it. I would like to say I will never trailer a bike but getting older will have its consequences.

Lucky you, you don't need to trailer yours. You would be, what, 20 minutes from being up in the mountains?

Yeah...I figure this will be what I'm riding by that age

 I wish all you young farts would stop carryin' on about being old... how would you know??

Bunch of spring chickens, the lot of you........

Had they made The Beast in our youth, I dought many of us would be here today. The ones that were would be true survivors or have lost their licenses years ago and Insurance would be $5,000.00 per year!

guess what!!! I hear that's about what they pay in quebec for insuring R3's any captains over there to confirm this

Oct. 2013 purchased 2011 R3R for my 68th birthday. Last ride was 1974 Kawasaki 900 Z1 purchased in 1974.
Nevertheless, age told me not to buy a 180 mph super sport bike. Don't need challenge to see how fast can do twisters.

Thinking "NEED FOR SPEED" has nothing to do with age.

See image. That's what I want to do!

Enjoy and ride safe.
