How fast have you ridden your Rocket III?

Maddogs, k&n filter, exh bypass, tuneboy with speedo corrected, speedo showed 145mph GPS said 141mph all i know my arms were killing me with hanging on. I am one of the windshield are for whimps crowd maybe someday(soon ) I will become a whimp.

Fast enough that I didnt want to spend much time looking at the speedo, and definitely not wanting to distract myself to calculate a corrected speed. Going down a long gradual hill, I know the throttle wouldnt roll any further, lol. I figure close to 140. Like some of you others, no windshield makes it very interesting!

oops, wait a minute...I never speed. Can a Rocket go over 70? hah!

125 MPH, Thats with my 07 classic tourer. Not bad for having a nice tall windshield and saddle bags. Although, I certainly feel the wind resistance from the bulky baggage. Rademis

They say its limited to 120 but it really starts pulling fuel just north of 110 by my GPS.

Fast enough for the left hand mirror to fold back just enough to see my ugly mug through the visor of my helmet. As if it was saying, go ahead and take one last good look at yourself, cause if the crash don't kill ya, the wife that spent months wiping your ass after the last one will. So roughly 135 mph on the Rock and 142 mph on the Yamaha Roadstar Warrior (yep, the one that I crashed).

I got the beast to 130+ (140 on the speedo then chickened out )

interesting thing was it seemed to never run out of "power" the whole way. just smooth acceleration. but i didn't shove it... just did a paced acceleration until i chickened out

My wife reads these post from time to time....never had mine over 85 mph.
